The name of thermistor "sensitive resistance to the temperature" refers to two types of products :

The NTC are widespread in sectors such as automotive (temperature measurement of oil), telecommunication (temperature control of the copper reels), data processing, medical and aerospace ; you can find the PTC in the production of automatic rearmament fuses and protection of eletric motors or temperature control.
